Treating Depression and Other Illnesses Since 2011

What to Expect

What to Expect

The Freespira Program begins in the office when you are evaluated for eligibility by a clinician. At that time, you and the clinician will review your symptoms, treatment history, and possible treatment options. Once you are authorized for treatment, you will be trained by a clinic staff member, which takes about 40 minutes. The training will be scheduled at your convenience and that of the staff.  After training you will take Freespira home and do two sessions per day, once in the morning and once at night, for 17 minutes each session (with audio and visual prompts by the App on the tablet). All of your sessions are uploaded automatically to a secure server, using an ID number and not your name.

recommend-freespiraYour clinic staff member and our Freespira partner will review the results of your at-home sessions and you will receive weekly follow up calls (15-20 minutes which can be scheduled in advance) to review your progress and make suggestions for modifying your breathing.

At the end of 4 weeks, you will bring the Freespira System back to the office for a follow up appointment with a clinic staff member.
